"Peace"

I see photography as my escape - I see it as the only way I can take my time to study the fragments of life. The camera lens only sees what light allows it to see, but through the lens I can see life in a new light.

My journey around the world with Semester at Sea in 2000 opened my eyes to things I never thought I would see. For that, my perspective in life changed. I depend on my camera to capture those rare moments that otherwise would seem meaningless in a split second.
